We have a fantastic opportunity for a care provider to join us as a Registered Nurse to join our home care team at Oxley Home care in the North Shore. As a Registered Nurse, you will:
Conduct clinical and personal care duties, with a holistic approach to in-home patient care:

  • Provide clinical judgment, creativity and sensitivity to develop care plans that are aligned to the client’s assessed needs
  • Monitor chronic and palliative conditions
  • Assess wounds and attend to dressings as per the care plan
  • Monitor and assist clients to use continents devices and change the IDC and SPC
  • Assist with showering, bathing, shaving, dressing, toileting and denture care, and a range of other personal care duties
  • Provide a high level of holistic care including social, emotional, spiritual support

You’ll use your initiative and problem-solving skills to conduct assessments, wound care, and monitor care outcomes. Crucially, you’ll do it with a gentle hand and a warm smile.

Our client’s hopes, dreams, and desires were once not too dissimilar to yours. As you’ll be providing clinical care for a wide range of clients with varying needs and abilities, you’ll approach every situation with an open mind and compassionate heart.

 

To join us, you’ll need:

  • Unrestricted AHPRA Registration, with a minimum 2 years practicing as an RN
  • Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001)
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A current driver licence, registration and access to your own car with comprehensive car insurance
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Clearance (as per state regulations)
